Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They offer an added benefit or impact while the equipment in use. They can be purchased by players or vendors, looted or obtained as rewards, or made by crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects, in addition to offering bonus points for attributes.
Upgrade components include inscriptions enhancements, and infusions. They aren't generally accessible to the general public and can only be used on equipment that has been elevated or certain weapons that aren't ascended from the Factions Campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be recovered from equipment with an Infusion Extraction Device, or salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
In contrast to other upgrade items, Phoenix Boxes can be traded even while still attached to the item that they are upgrading. They can be reused after being reclaimed. These upgrade items are the best option to boost the quality of armor and weapons without spending Dilithium because they can increase the likelihood of receiving a quality upgrade by two times.
Upgrade components can be added to an item but the previous one is destroyed (except for legendaries and Ascended equipment). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items with an identification level of zero or greater. The addition of an upgrade to an existing weapon equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade will display the name of the new item in the same way as it appears in game (for instance, adding an Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can have up to three upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs are an excellent addition to any product, since they provide many unique advantages and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, which increases its effectiveness. These glyphs are available through the dungeons and some even be found in specific World Tier 3 areas. It is important to remember that glyphs can't be used on a character who hasn't created a root dungeon of the same depth.
To use a Glyph you must first create it with components and then connect them via anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't want create the glyph from components, you can build it by using a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element in the direction of the component that is highlighted to lock it into place.
Some glyphs require certain conditions to be met for example, 25 Dexterity within a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some require a specific number of Primary Stat nodes to be activated which is sometimes difficult to attain. Some glyphs also have a radius that increases as you level it up.
Glyphs can be found on various items and can be added to all weapons except for weapons belonging to specific classes. Some of these glyphs also require conditions, such as having a certain number of damage from Dexterity or Attack in a specific area on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the chance of preventing enemy attacks by 5percent. It also has a chance of 15% to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
There are also a few glyphs that could be applied to tools that are limited-use, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs count towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most popular glyphs are the attack glyphs which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts with a flat value. They are especially beneficial for ranged classes, such as Warriors and Rogues. The Exploit Glyph makes enemies who strike the Hero vulnerable to damaging effects.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll the result of an Action. After the reroll is completed they are discarded. Reroll tokens can be gained in a variety of ways, such as through raids, dungeons, and skirmishes. They can also be purchased at the shop or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials since they allow players to reroll the rewards from the end chest.
For items in the range of 1 there are values for recycling points. The upgrade gauge will increase by a certain number of points when you recycle an item. item upgrading will increase depending on the item's value and rarity. The upgraded item will not be able to keep its level when recycled, and the cost for recycling an upgraded item rises as its level increases.
Alternatively, a player can use reroll tokens to reroll an upgrade item however, this won't bring the item back to its original condition or provide its original extra statistics. This is useful for players who want to reroll a piece of equipment they don't like but want to keep in their collection.
There are three types of upgrade tokens available in the game: reroll random, and upgrade. Each type has a few subtypes. Reroll tokens, for example, come in three levels that are rare, legendary, and enhanced. Each level requires an item from its respective level to make an item of that level.
To make use of rerolling tokens choose "Reroll Token" by right-clicking the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select the type of token. The tokens available include Item Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item token can be used to create a new Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token will create a brand new weapon of the same faction.
The item may also be upgraded to a new item with similar stats, but at a higher level. This will occur if the item has been placed in the Non-Droppable Pool or if it was transferred to the pool as part of a franchise card.
